DS: It was so much fun. It was my first real premiere. Kinda overwhelming, but we had a good time. I hadn’t seen some of the cast since we shot, so it was nice to catch up with everybody. I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal but a lot of people found out about it and came out.

JJ: What can viewers expect from this film?

DS: A lot of original music, a lot of dancing. That’s how it differs from the first Cinderella Story. It’s not really a sequel, its kinda it’s own movie. It’s got great pacing and has high energy, and its something that’s just made for kids, but older people can enjoy it also.

JJ: What genres of dance are performed in the film?

DS: Hip-hop, tango, there’s a big tango scene, ballroom dancing… I play this international pop star kid. So all that kind of boy-band dancing stuff is in there too.

Selena Gomez, who’s featured in the latest issue of Teen Vogue, recently spilled about a new song she just wrote called “I’m Sorry.”

The new track’s is about liking a guy who can’t get over his ex, rumored to be about Nick Jonas getting over ex Miley Cyrus.

“My favorite song that I’ve written is called ‘I’m Sorry’”, Selena tells Twist. “It’s about a boy I kind of fell for, but he couldn’t let his ex-girlfriend go, and it was really difficult. And I felt like in a way, I wasn’t good enough. So the song is basically me saying that I’m sorry that it didn’t work out or that she used to be who she was, but you have to let me in and you have to know that I’ll do everything I can to make you happy and be the best I can be. So that’s probably going to be the first one that I want to work on for my record. It will probably be the only ballad on the record, because I want the other stuff to be really fun. But that is probably going to be the most heartfelt one because it was the hardest time for me. That story actually happened to me.”

Demi, 16, has been touring with the Jonas Brothers this summer and recently shared about a fall she took during a show! “I fell at a show this one time,” she laughed. “Actually, I’ve fallen several times — like, four times already. But this one time I fell, it was the only one that made Perez Hilton and YouTube. I didn’t think anything of it when it happened. I just laughed it off onstage. But the next day, I see that it hit the Internet, and I was like, ‘Nooooooo.’ It totally stung, because I wasn’t expecting it. But I didn’t get hurt, and Joe [Jonas] helped me out a lot with that. Teen Vogue tapped photographer Bruce Weber to shoot Zac Efron for their October 2008 cover.

“To be the cover of the Young Hollywood issue is a big honor,” Zac gushed. “I’m glad that someone is honoring the new up and coming stars. I think there’s a lot of new talent coming up and I’m proud to represent.”

When asked how it was shooting the cover, the 20-year-old High School Musical star said, “Today’s shoot was very natural. We’re not in a studio, we’re outside. I’m very lucky to work with Bruce. He’s such an icon in the world of photography.”

As for what he likes to dress in, Zac said, “My personal style is just comfortable. I wear jeans a lot–I love just being just in sandals and a T-shirt.”

Brett Ratner, who directed the “7 Things” music video, recently revealed to MTV that Miley’s song is about her ex Nick Jonas.

“The necklace she’s wearing in the video is the necklace [the boy] gave her,” Brett told MTV. “She’s wearing his diabetes or medical necklace.”

As we all know, Nick has Type 1 diabetes and is a spokesperson for awareness of the disease. And there you have it. Miley must be thinking of Nick whenever she utters the phrase, “7 Things I Hate About You!”

”He’s falling for this older woman,” director Richard Linklater says of Zac’s character. ”She’s taking him for a bit of a ride.” She being Claire Danes, Zac’s object of affection in the film.

Zac plays a high school student in the 1930’s who stumbles across the Mercury Theatre and his acting potential is soon realized by the theatre’s founder Orson Welles. Claire plays a perky production assistant–some pictures of her on the set of Orson can be found here.
